Japanese bankers have to change traditional corporate culture

The Mainichi Newspaper referred my comment in the article as follows:

‘Faced with the looming fear of losing customers to the newcomers, banks “would get rid of employees whose only skill is to get the seals of approval of their superiors,” said Kyoto University professor Naoyuki Iwashita, a specialist in financial technologies.’ (Japan megabanks fighting stodgy corporate culture as new fintech players encroach – August 18, 2018 Mainichi Japan)

Of course, I do not intend to slander my respectful friends who are working in banks, but I am making this remarks with the intention of having to change the way of doing business which Japanese bankers have continued for many years. If we change the direction of thinking a little, we can work more efficiently and attractively in banks, I believe.
